Associate Compensation - Associates are compensated with a guaranteed first year salary based on specialty, with potential adjustments for experience and unique skills. Our starting compensation is competitive nationally through the use of national surveys and market data. Most associates can earn an increased base compensation in year two reflecting productivity. In addition, the generous retirement program begins in the second year in the form of a group contribution to a 401k plan.

Shareholder Compensation - Shareholder status is offered in the third year to all physicians who meet Group standards based on productivity, quality of care, and Group participation. Shareholder base compensation for the coming year is determined by the compensation committee comprised of physicians from varying specialties. Base compensation for each physician is strongly related to his/her productivity and thus allowing significant variation within departments. In general, base compensation levels equal or exceed national benchmarks such as MGMA data and other sources. Total compensation would include base compensation, benefits, Group retirement contribution (up to $26,000/year for 2008), shareholder group bonus and shared risk income.
