Diabetes and You!

A series of four classes designed to help you understand diabetes. Learn how to manage your blood sugar and control your diabetes through meal planning, activity and medication. Recommended as a refresher class or for an individual recently diagnosed with diabetes. A family member is encouraged to attend.

Gestational Diabetes

Intensive Carbohydrate Counting Plus

These three classes offer advanced carbohydrate counting for patients on intensive insulin management. (Patients using rapid acting insulin either in a pump or by injection.) These classes are required for pump initiation. A family member is encouraged to attend.

Diabetes Drop-In Clinic

- Learn how to use a blood glucose monitor
- Evaluate different kinds of monitors
- Receive a printout of your blood sugars
- Have your blood pressure checked

No appointment is needed. No fee.

If you have a blood glucose monitor, please bring it with you.
