Sutter Gould Breaks Ground on New Medical Office Building
January 28, 2004
MODESTO – Sutter Gould Medical Foundation recently announced their plans for a 44,000 square foot medical office building on the campus of Memorial Medical Center. The newly built clinic will serve as the offices for Gould Medical Group’s Departments of Orthopedics, Cardiology, Gastroenterology and OB/GYN.
The physician specialists will relocate from their current offices at 600 Coffee Road upon completion of construction in the fall of 2004.
“This expansion is necessary due to the growth of our physician group and our specialty departments,” said Martin F. Pricco, M.D., Gould Medical Group’s President. “Having specialty physician offices on the campus of the hospital will minimize the physician’s time that is currently spent traveling between the hospital and the clinical office. We are proud to be associated with Sutter Health’s Memorial Medical Center and foresee most of our medical specialty offices relocating to the hospital’s campus as we expand and renovate our 600 Coffee Road clinic.”
In addition to the new medical office building, Sutter Gould Medical Foundation has 18 care centers located throughout Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties. Sutter Gould Medical Foundation is part of Sutter Health, one of the nation's leading not-for-profit networks of community-based health care providers, delivering high quality care in more than 100 Northern California communities. Sutter Health supports more than two dozen locally-run acute care hospitals, physician training programs, medical research facilities, and region-wide home health, hospice and occupational health services.
